To select a Company by Name

  1. If necessary, select the Company Name radio button in the Identifier box (box 1).
  2. In the edit box, enter the name of the company you wish to find.
    You can enter any part of the name. The search will find all the company names available that contain the text you type. For example, "clay" will find "Barclays" and "New Claymore Resources" as well as "Earl Clay Laboratories".
    You can search for several company names in one search by placing 'or' between each piece of text entered. You can also separate each word or piece of text with a comma (,) or comma+space (, ), if you wish.
  3. To include Dun & Bradstreet private companies in the search, set the Search private companies check box.
    A second table containing the privates companies found will be displayed in the Search Results page.
    (Note: This option is only available if you subscribe to this database of companies.)
  4. To search US exchanges only, set the US Exchanges Only check box.
    (Note: this option is only available if you subscribe to US & International companies)
  5. Click on the Search button.
    This will display the Search Results page that will show all the company names containing the text you typed.
